So I headed over to Mandrain Gallery's Arteastiq yesterday for my dose of social painting and didn't expect much.
After all, painting is just painting right?
But boy was painting not only fun, but really relaxing and therapeutic as well!
Some people painted from their imagination and others chose to do portraits.
Me? I decided to follow a reference of trees and night lights and the result after 3 hours was a splatter of rural colours on canvas.
Can you see Pulpy's face peeking at the back?
I'm supposed to let my painting dry over the weekends (I had lots of thick acrylic paint strokes) so I will post my art work up once it's done!
Anyway, Arteastiq has a lovely cafe as well, which serves an array of teas, coffees and ice blended drinks so do drop by for a nice cuppa if you're in town!
